Assistive Technology for Students
Texas A&M University–Corpus Christi has the following assistive technology available to students:
Height Adjustable Table
The table’s height is adjustable. This may be helpful for people using wheelchairs, people with back, or other types of physical problems. These tables are only found in the library locations.CCTV—(Closed Circuit Television)

Works with a PC to provide access to today’s software applications and the Internet. With its internal software speech synthesizer and the computer’s sound card, information from the screen is read aloud, providing technology to access a wide variety of information.Kurzweil 3000 Scan & Read

- Center for Instruction Room 222: Kurzweil and ZoomText are installed on specific computers.
- Center for Instruction Room 223: ZoomText 9 is installed on a specific computer (labeled).
- Corpus Christi Hall Room 224: ZoomText Magnifier/Reader version 9.18 is installed on a specific computer (labeled). Zoomtext is also installed on the computer right outside of room 224.
- Corpus Christi Hall Room 230: Jaws 11 is installed on a specific computer. ZoomText 9 is installed on another computer (labeled).
